This incredible organization has teamed up with the community and are creating a beautiful new facility along the inlets of the Mississippi River in Camanche, Iowa. The ground breaking ceremony was January 6th, 2011. They brought in youth from the area schools to turn the sandy shore. (Pretty smart since we had freezing weather and none of us old folks would have been able to get through the ice!) The project involves creating a year round exhibit that will best emulate the natural beauty and history of the Clinton County river area. This is another continued adventures with Midwest Exhibits.
